Damn, that's dense. That's an insta-subscribe from me. I love the interweaving of the connections and their relationship(s) to the metaphorical imagery, combined with a rhyme scheme, meter, and syntax that flow as natural poetic expression, not just lines jammed together in order to squeeze some rhymes out of them.

Thank you! It's definitely a challenge to not make it seem like a bullet point list of lines. My other ones were tetrameter instead of pentameter, which was even more limiting. The trick is to allow it to be dense, but not horrifically obscure and impossible to understand.

Thanks again for the comment and the subscribe!

I enjoyed the imagery and the rhyme scheme.

I really enjoy the way you weave the passages from the Old Testament to the fulfillment of profecies related to them in the New Testament--through Christ, as most if not all of them are. It is great to see the passages referenced as well. It strengthens the message.

Thank you! I'm always unsure how obscure some allusions may be, so including the references is my fallback 😄 And yes, Christ is the fulfillment (and purpose) of the OT. I'm glad you enjoyed!
